Every FLYTRAP piece begins the way the plant itself does — slowly, and by hand. The Venus flytrap on this tee isn't printed on. It's built, layer by layer, from hand-cut denim patchwork appliqué and dense embroidery thread, stitched onto heavyweight cotton by our in-house artisans. Each trap head is individually shaped, edged in raw denim, and hand-stitched with jagged embroidered spines that catch the light differently depending on how you move. A single trail of stitched thread traces an ant's last steps toward the leaves - the whole story of the hunt, worn on one shoulder.

This is where nature study meets textile craft. No two tees carry the exact same patchwork placement, because no two hands cut fabric the same way twice. What you're wearing isn't a graphic - it's a small, deliberate piece of construction.

The Craft

How To Style

Let the oversized cut do the work. Pair with baggy denim or cargos and chunky sneakers for an easy drop, or tuck loosely into wide-leg trousers with boots for something sharper. Layer under an open overshirt when it's cold - the patchwork detail stays visible at the hem.

The Fine Print

Because the flytrap is hand-appliquéd and hand-embroidered, slight variation in patch placement, stitch density, and denim grain is normal - that's the mark of handwork, not a flaw. Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle to protect the embroidery and appliqué edges. No bleach. Tumble dry low, or better, air dry. Wash less, wear more.
